Services are provided exclusively via telehealth (video and, where applicable, audio-only). You must be physically located in a state where I am licensed — Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, or Washington — at the time of each session. If you are traveling outside these states, we cannot legally meet.
At your first session, you will be asked to confirm your identity on camera with a valid photo ID. At the start of each session, you will confirm your full name and current physical location. California clients: verbal location confirmation is required by California Business and Professions Code §2290.5 and documented in your chart.
National Certified Counselor (NCC) — Issued by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Confirms completion of graduate-level counseling education, supervised clinical experience, and passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE).
Board Certified — Telemental Health (BC-TMH) — Issued by the NBCC. Confirms specialized training and competency in the ethical and clinical delivery of telehealth mental health services.
Your protected health information is governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, provided to all clients at intake through the SimplePractice or Headway client portal. That document describes how your health information may be used and disclosed, your rights under HIPAA, and how to file a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
